MOORING ROPES

Mooring ropes approved by Classification Society LR/ DNV/ GL / JCR and in compliance with OCIMF Mooring guidelines at competitive prices for Bonded and non-bonded delivery in Sri Lanka and off Galle / Colombo / Trincomalee / Hambantota. We can supply mooring ropes made of polypropylene, Mixed fibres (Polypropelene and polyester mix), Nylon and UHMWPE fibres of various sizes and strength for use in Offshore, Shipping, Navy, Fishing and Port applications. We can also supply cargo nets, slings and SPM equipment

WIRE ROPES

Shanghai Solar is a maker of wire ropes, crane wires, lashing materials, chains of the highest standards in accordance with and certified by major classification societies. The Company is certified to ISO 9001 standards and we can supply you with the following products.

1. Steel Wire Rope Series: Diameter 6mm~120mm Crane wire rope, grab wire rope, mooring/towing wire rope, marine wire rope, Non-rotating wire rope, bridge wire rope, mining wire rope, large diameter wire rope, etc. 6 strands, 8 strands, 4v*39S, 35W*K7 galvanized/bright, anti-rotating are optional. Different applications for hoisting, lifting and drawing, fishing, shipbuilding for marine / offshore/Shipping/Drilling projects.

Oil Pollution Prevention Equipment

As per the Sri Lanka National Oil Spill Contingency Plan (NOSCOP) a Tier 1 Oil Spill is defined as a relatively small oil spill ( less than 50 Tons) requiring local response using local resources and own capabilities according to local “Oil Pollution Emergency Plan” , e.g. bunkering operations; ship transfer, etc

Certain specified locations and associated management associations such as Ports, Harbour Terminals, repair yards of Ships, Drydocks, offshore installations dealing with oil, pipelines or any other apparatus used for transferring oil to or from a ship to have their Oil Spill Contingency Plans (OSCOP) capable of handling oil spillage (Tier 1) arising from causes most proximate to that Institution. Each such plan must be consistent in strategy with the National Oil Spill Contingency Plan.

Meridian Navigation Ltd. Provides all Oil Spill Containment and Clean up equipment including Booms, Absorbents, Dispersants and Skimmers as well as follow up service. Our equipment is certified as per global standards and can be deployed rapidly.

1. Pollution Booms – We provide Foam filled Fence Booms, Inflated Booms (Reel Mounted) , Debris / Trash Booms , Shore Sealing Booms, Silt Curtains and Permanent Booms. These booms can be customised for Height / Weight / Colour as per Client requirements.
2. Oil Spill Absorbents – We provide Absorbent Booms , Rolls , Sheets , Pillows , Socks for cleaning up Oil and Chemical Spills
3. Oil Dispersants and Degreasers for oil spill cleanup. Dispersant equipment for spraying the Dispersant
4. Skimmers – We supply Belt / Brush / Drum type Weir Skimmers with clean up capacity from 5 to 50 cbm / hour. Our Skimmers are floating devices with a power pack solution and the capability to pump the recovered oil to a Recovery tank.
5. Vacuum Pumps – for recovery of oil from the Sea Surface or inland waters.
6. Oil Spill containment Containers both shore based (Bags, Berms, Trays) and towable types to store the recovered oil.
